BGA Insurance Group was founded in 2008 by Joseph Bachmeier and Gregory Gudis with a simple belief: navigating Medicare, retirement, and insurance shouldn’t be complicated, and people deserve knowledgeable guidance from someone they can trust.
What began as a small, independent insurance agency serving local communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey has grown into a much larger organization. Over the years, BGA expanded its network of insurance professionals, built relationships with many of the nation’s leading insurance carriers, and helped thousands of individuals and families make informed decisions about their health, life, and retirement needs.
In 2022, BGA reached an important milestone by joining AmeriLife, one of the nation’s leading organizations focused on insurance and retirement solutions. The partnership significantly expanded BGA’s resources, carrier relationships, technology, and national reach while allowing us to continue building on the personalized approach that has defined BGA since its founding.
Today, BGA supports a growing network of independent insurance professionals and serves clients across more than 20 states. Our expanded national footprint gives our agents access to broader resources and solutions, while our clients continue to receive what has always mattered most: knowledgeable guidance, personal attention, and help understanding their options.
