My name is Steven Genuardi. I came to work with the BGA team in spring of 2013 after working as a captive agent for two separate insurance companies. Originally, I entered the insurance industry in 2012 offering life insurance solutions for unionized employees in the Philadelphia area.
I quickly realized the value of being able to also offer health insurance, so I set out to earn my health license. Licenses in hand, I became contracted with my second insurance company and started on the rewarding path of offering retirement solutions to seniors.
I absorbed as much information as I could during the nine months I was contracted with this second company, but the most valuable lesson I took away from the experience was that if I wanted to be competitive in my field, I had to be able to offer a variety of insurance products across a wide array of insurance companies.

More about Steven
I was introduced to the founders, Joseph Bachmeier and Gregory Gudis. After interviewing with Joe and Greg, I was brought on board. Through the years of working with BGA, my career has boomed.
I currently maintain several large books of business in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. In 2015, I earned “Most Improved Agent” in the firm, and in 2017, I was awarded “Overall Agent of the Year,” “Conshohocken Agent of the Year,” and “Top Annuity Producer” of the company.
I believe firmly in the values of teamwork and team leadership. Through the years, I have helped new agents launch their careers with BGA, and I occasionally ride along with my colleagues to help them find the right insurance solution for their own clients.
I am currently licensed in PA, NJ, DE, and MD. I am also certified in Long Term Care planning. I earned my B.A. from Michigan State University in Communications Arts and Sciences and a specialization in Sales Communication.
I am an active member of my community. I sit on the Staff Parish Relations Committee at my church. I am involved in many activities at my local YMCA. I help with my sons’ boy scouts and participate in my daughter’s girl scouts events, and I regularly volunteer my time at each one of my 4 children’s schools.
When I am not at the office, sitting in front of a client, or running my children all over the tri-state area, I enjoy a nice cup of coffee with my lovely wife, downhill skiing, taking a pleasure cruise in my car, walking my dog, Snickers, or playing polo on my horse, Mia.
